Introduction

This lesson shows how to create and produce report cards for a group of students or for one selected student at a time. The report cards are printed and displayed in a .pdf file that may be viewed and printed from an Internet browser.

You may realize the most benefit from this lesson if you have a general knowledge of the NC WISE report card processes and terminology. To assist you, special terms and definitions are included at the end of the Scenario section in this lesson.

Before you begin, take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the report card-related terms and definitions. You may also want to view the Report Card Overview lesson for a general discussion and summary of the report card topic.

Objectives

At the completion of this lesson, you will be able to:

• Run the NC (North Carolina) GPA calculation prior to creating report cards
• Mass produce a batch of report cards for a group of students based on specified criteria
• Produce an individual report card for a selected student
• Identify important screens, fields, and dependencies of the report card production process
