Schools in North Carolina are required to use one of the three state standard mark scales.

This lesson discusses the three Mark Scales from which schools may select:

• Letter Marks
• Graduated (Plus and Minus) Letter Marks
• Numeric (Percentage) Marks

• Describe the three Mark Scales approved by the State for use in eSIS
• Set up the appropriate Mark Scale for your school
