Introduction

This lesson shows how to add or change a student’s schedule and to perform schedule maintenance for a student when a schedule explodes vertically or horizontally.

Objectives

At the completion of this lesson, you will be able to:

• Explain the difference between vertical and horizontal exploding courses and how they are set up using the Course Maintenance screen.
• Enroll or update student courses that explode vertically or horizontally.
• Enroll a student in a blocked out course.
• Enroll a student in a cross-enrolled course.

Note: This lesson shows how to schedule students using Host and Exploding courses, but is not intended to show how to create Host or Exploding Courses.
