Introduction

This lesson reviews the following fields on the School Details screen: Courses in Use, Course Capping, and Using Course Alternates. It also demonstrates using matched alternates and global alternates.

Objectives

At the completion of this lesson, you will be able to:

• Define a global and a matched alternate course
• Identify the setting that enables the use of alternate courses
• Simulate a student schedule without using alternate courses
• Change a global alternate course selection to a scheduled course for a student
• Un-schedule a matched alternate course
