Scenario
First, you may have a general knowledge of the NC WISE attendance processes and terminology, particularly for entering daily attendance at your school. To assist you, special terms and definitions are included at the end of this section.

Although anyone may benefit from this lesson, it is intended for data managers and approaches the daily sign-in and sign-out processes from that point of view. Lesson examples use the students in Homeroom 402 at Elementary School 7.
As a data manager at Elementary School 7, you will begin at the eSIS Main Start screen. From there, we use the most efficient path from the Main Start screen to the Attendance Start screen where sign-in and sign-out tasks are executed from the list of options on the Daily Attendance drop-down menu.
