Introduction
Attendance in eSIS cannot be taken for students until their first day of attendance is verified. In eSIS, the process of verifying a student’s first day of attendance is called Registration Verification.
All students must be registered each year. Students who are admitted/enrolled are not counted in the school's membership until they are registered.
Registration verification occurs in the student’s home school. Cross-enrolled students are not registered by the cross-enrolled school. Attendance cannot be taken in the cross-enrolled school until the student is registered in his/her home school.
In a multi-track school, the Administrative School is the student’s home school. Registration of students must be recorded in the Administrative School.
Refer to First 10 days lessons and Track school lesson for additional information.
The registration function eliminates the need to withdraw all students at the end of the year and re-enroll them for the coming year.
