Scenario

You are looking for basic information about a student in the system. You know the student's last name but are not sure of the spelling of the first name. In addition, you are trying to determine if the student is enrolled in the correct school, based on the address of record.

There are several ways of searching for information in the eSIS system. In this lesson, we will discuss the procedure for executing a query from the Main Menu selection on the eSIS Main Start Screen.

This read-only form is used to query for:

• A student, based on the data entered into the criteria  area
  
• A school, based on address information entered in the criteria area
