Scenario

In NC WISE, state approved courses are created in the state repository.

LEA and school courses are initially populated from information provided at conversion. When new state courses are added to the repository, the courses become available to each LEA.

The LEA central office can then elect to associate the new state-approved course with a new district-specific course code. This association is made in the LEA's master course list. This association makes the new course available to the schools.

Schools, in turn, populate their course lists from approved LEA courses.
